Does anyone even see that Gaza has been turned into a pile of rubble? What is Kamala talking about when she says, "Israel has a right to defend itself?" This isn't defense. It is a one-sided slaughter. Why is is it so bad that the kids on campus are protesting and setting up encampments? They shouldn't be treated that way. I'm told one student (at least one) wasn't allowed back on campus after being involved in the encampments.
Basically, what Israel's doing is a genocide. People are now living in tents, starving to death. This includes children. Israel is targeting the tents. What is the point of "safe zones" if they are not going to be safe?
Notice that Israel can strike inside Iran, right at Tehran, and what does the US do? The US runs to protect Israel from Iran! There have also been Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon.
I have a theory. One reason the "war" can't end is because Bibi knows he is in a lot of trouble if it does. He is trying to maintain power, and could be tried for corruption. His political career would essentially be over. There are already many calls for him to leave office. Many blame him for the hostages that were killed recently in Gaza.
In a world that wasn't upside down and backwards, Israel would really be tried by the IJC, and it would stick. South Africa is doing its best. But we live in an unjust and imperfect world, and institutions like the IJC are only allowed to work if it is in the interest of the masters of the West.
